About Dan Smith

Hi, I’m Dan, a screenwriter, video game enthusiast, storyteller and devoted cut scene watcher.

I’ve always been passionate about games and the stories they tell and, accompanied by a love of the written word, I am now looking to make this passion a profession.

A scriptwriter for many years, I want to transfer and use my skills to be part of the changing face of the video game industry.

With savvy audiences expecting more and more from the games they play, narrative development is becoming one of the most exciting and diverse entertainment sectors to work in.

No writer should be able to resist the allure of such a landscape where they can leave such a major way.

Wayward Child

Wayward Child is a narrative led, action horror game set in post-apocalyptic Britain. When Morgan Selkirk’s daughter Amelia flees an isolationist community which has survived the onset of a deadly contagion, it is his mission to find her. It is a story steeped in action and danger, found in both the living and the dead, but also in the complex and unpredictable nature of human relationships.

London Abstract

Thieves Honour

This action adventure game charts the lives of former thieves Aliyah Prince and Raz Khan. Fresh from prison, they are forced into the service of mobster Declan Pryce, their last mark. Atoning for the sins of their past, the two must return to their criminal ways as they navigate London’s simmering underworld, where danger is promised but survival never assured.

Village, Inescapable

A village out of time and space, a protagonist desperate to escape, an unknown enemy lurking in the shadows, Village, Inescapable is an interactive narrative that places you at the heart of the odd community with a terrible secret. Take control of the action as you work to unravel the mystery of Aarick's Bay. Maybe you'll even make it out alive.
